School Dates – July 2013

While most of our academic program takes place in Kenya, we do run three days of classes in Toronto prior to departure. This allows our staff and students to get to know one another, and it ensures that everyone has the appropriate clothing and equipment, including computers and related software.

These three days also afford us the opportunity to address some of the Ministry of Education’s expectations for the courses. In turn this permits us to have several days “free” from the usual academic program in Kenya.

Toronto class dates:
Students will be expected to be in attendance from 8:30 until 4:30 on July 3, 4, and 5. The location will be announced at a later date.

Toronto Departure:
Staff and students will depart Toronto on July 6. Detailed flight information will be forwarded closer to departure.

July 7 to 25:
Classes and non-academic program take place in Kenya.

Nairobi Departure:
Staff and students will depart Kenya on July 26. Depending on flight times, which will be determined at a later date, we will arrive in Toronto either July 26 or 27.
